Mission Statement

The house is the “golden egg.”  If the house is taken care of, all parties involved (tenants, owners and property managers) win.  The owners win as their investment is protected and kept valuable.  The tenants win with a safe and secure living space. And property management wins the opportunity to work. Win, win, win!

Win, Win, Win Business Strategy

In the context of property management, the win-win-win business strategy is centered around the house.  As long as every party involved cares for the home, the house will be profitable, habitable, marketable and a great long term investment. The property manager begins caring for the home with careful inspections and documentation.  Later, the property manager makes a good choice for the home by choosing financially responsible tenants who assert their willingness to care for the home.  The property manager communicates to the tenants the importance of maintaining the home.  The tenants win in this strategy because they can enjoy the stability of living in a safe, clean, well maintained home. The owner plays the part of providing a safe, maintained, long term rental to the local Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley  community.  The owner protects their investment by responding effectively to the requested repairs and updates as the years go on.  In return, they have an appreciating investment that is paying for itself, if not bringing in cash flow in the meantime.  Coordinating this win-win-win dynamic is the property manager.  Of course, the owner and tenant have interest in the property and want to benefit by way of caring and maintaining the property. It is of the utmost importance that the property manager be available and attentive to all reports and requests provided by the tenants.  By quickly responding to home issues (e.g., leaks), the property manager can oversee small scale repairs to prevent greater structural damage to a home. Finally, the property managers win the opportunity to earn a stable income for their work, and to feel the satisfaction of providing livable homes and work opportunities for their community.  In the win-win-win strategy, tenants are cared for, the owner profits, and the property management company thrives.

Owners

When everyone treats the home as the “golden egg,” the owner wins. Property is an investment that requires maintenance and care.  With responsible tenants paying rent and caring for their living space, their investment remains marketable and valuable.  It will continue to bring in income via rent and appreciate over time as property values trend up.

Tenants

When everyone treats the home as the “golden egg,” the tenants win.  Long term rental properties in Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley have become scarce over the years with the area experiencing increased tourism and a boom of investors converting single family homes into short term vacation rentals. Working residents win when they can settle into the saftey and security of a house to call home.  A property that is well loved and maintained means they can enjoy a quality living space daily.

Property Manager

When everyone treats the home as the “golden egg,” the property manager wins.  A smooth operating property management business is one where all parties to the lease are upholding their end.  The owner is committed to keeping the house in good living condition, and marketable place for rent. This gives the property manager a valuable asset to their business.  When the tenant upholds their end by paying rent and leaving the property in a clean and tidy state, the property manager benefits from the steady income and the quick turn around from one renter to the next.
